Digital receipt
September 9, 2024
In August of this year, the government approved the Ministry of Industry's proposal to enact a digital receipt. Its legislative anchoring, which will greatly facilitate the shopping process, will be discussed further. According to the proposal, the paper receipt should only be at the customer's request, which would save up to kilometers of paper and avoid throwing away paper receipts immediately after they are printed. A digital receipt in a uniform format could be obtained, for example, via an application, e-mail or QR code, which should make the entire shopping process faster and more efficient, and the customer would have a better overview of his purchases and immediate access to all receipts without having to save paper receipts.
Already today, some retail chains offer the option of choosing between an electronic receipt sent to the application or by e-mail and a paper receipt.
Our company is already ready for the digital receipt. Our customers have the option in the WinShop SQL system to set the output of the receipt in the form of a printed receipt or a PDF document, which can be automatically sent to the customer's manually entered or registered e-mail or it can be saved in the customer section of the client in the mobile customer application.
