Footshop, a company specializing in the sale of shoes, mainly sneakers, clothing and fashion accessories, was founded in 2011 by Peter Hejduček. Footshop gradually began to focus more on lifestyle sneakers instead of skateboard sneakers and grew to include brands such as Adidas, Nike and Asics, and later on brands such as Vans, Puma and Reebok. In 2015, Footshop became part of the Adidas Consortium, a move that has provided access into limited editions, which now include Kanye West's Yeezy.

The biggest advantages of the WinShop solution in Footshop
The successful completion of the implementation at all Footshop stores is not the end of our cooperation. Evolving Online Sales requires continuous modernization of the offer and sales processes. These processes must then be matched by solutions at brick-and-mortar stores and outlets. For these reasons, the cooperation between our companies is very intensive and together we are trying to adapt the business, POS and warehouse WinShop SQL system to help implement Footshop's business strategies.

Implementation story
In connection with the development of its brick-and-mortar stores, which complemented the main sales channel and enabled in-person pickups of ordered goods, the company's management was looking for a reliable warehouse and POS system that would not only enable direct sales of goods to customers, but also implement processes related to in-person pickups of orders from the e-shop. In mid-2018, our company participated in a tender in which we offered a comprehensive solution for stores, including connection to Footshop's central information system. Business, POS and warehouse system WinShop SQL impressed in the tender with its comprehensiveness, many add-ons for sales support and the overall concept of implementing dispensing point processes.
WinShop SQL
After signing the contractual documentation, the implementation of the pilot project started at the end of 2018. The main objective of the project to integrate WinShop SQL POS and warehouse system into the existing www.footshop.cz solution was to build a connection between the two systems, which will enable a high degree of synchronization of inventory and customer orders and ensure fast customer check-in at the store both during the sale itself and during in-person order pickups from the online store. In order to increase the convenience of order picking, mobile readers were added to the entire solution to enable checking of stocked goods and order picking. Another interesting addition was the delivery of WinShop SQL applications for mobile phones, on which the store staff checked the availability of products and other up-to-date information about the goods. After the successful completion of the pilot project, the implementation continued with another stores in the Czech Republic, followed by stores in Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
