The beginning of SANU BABU was a few months of exploring India and Nepal as part of a student expedition and then trying to bring at least something of the local culture and lifestyle to Europe. In 1993, this activity was followed by the business company SANU BABU spol. s r.o., a wholesale warehouse was built and the first shop in the centre of Prague was opened. At the same time a sales exhibition about Nepal was opened in Celetná Street. At present, three shops are open in Prague and the goods are sold by dozens of other shops. Furthermore, SANU BABU, spol. s.r.o. receives customers not only from all over the country but also from abroad. Over time, the product range has been expanded to include countless items - from hundreds of fragrance sticks to original fashion and fashion accessories, silver jewellery to furniture from India. The founders' main endeavour is to continuously reinvent new ideas from Nepali and Indian manufacturers to bring to life the colourful relaxed vibe of the Asian evening that they associate with the country.

The biggest advantages of WinShop solution
The specific assortment imported from exotic destinations required the implementation of tools for ordering goods from suppliers, pre-pricing of goods taking into account the significant component of additional shipping costs and its budget per order item. Of course, the generator and print of labels for goods with description, barcode and price. WinShop Std. warehouse and POS system is implemented at SANU BABU not only for the management of the retail network but also for sales to wholesale customers. In SANU BABU retail network, both the customer system and the managed promotions system are used.

Implementation story
The cooperation with SANU BABU started in the second half of 2009. At this time, the company's management decided to select a new supplier of information system for wholesale and for the management of its retail stores network. Our company analysts conducted a process audit, listened to all the requirements of the management and the operations staff. Based on this knowledge, an implementation study and a quotation were prepared. SANU BABU's management approved our offer and in October 2009 the implementation started at the company's headquarters and all SANU BABU stores. The implemented solution was WinShop Std. POS and warehouse system in OFF LINE version. Over time, WinShop Std. system was implemented in 18 SANU BABU stores. The entire solution was complemented by eWinShop online shop.
