The biggest advantages of WinShop solution
The successful completion of the implementation of the central catalogue is not the end of our cooperation with BIGMAT. The aim of the implementation is to connect the central catalogue to the individual information systems of the members. This connection will ensure the consolidation of the products of the individual stores with the central catalogue, which will allow automated listing of products from the central catalogue directly into the business systems of the members, and above all the possibility of selling the goods of all members through the central e-shop BIGMAT. A significant advantage of our company is the ability to implement WinShop SQL business and warehouse system at the stores of individual members and thus ensure data connection to the central catalogue already within the implementation.

Implementation story
In 2022, BIGMAT's headquarters launched a tender for the supplier of a PIM (Product Information Management) system to consolidate all information about the BIGMAT network (products, product descriptions, purchase prices, suppliers, etc.). PIM was also to serve as a single data source for the association's members. The aim was, among other things, to simplify the agenda of processing price lists, purchase prices, listing of new products and to unify the common assortment of the entire network. The delivery of PIM was to be followed by the delivery of an application for the members of the association, a web catalogue, which was to serve as a presentation place for the data contained in the central PIM solution. WinShop software responded to the tender with its products WinShop SQL (for the provision of PIM) and WEB WinShop (a presentation application for association members). Our product and service offering included eWinShop for the association's planned central online shop.
PIM Central Catalogue
Our company succeeded in the tender with its solution and after signing the contract documentation, the implementation started. The implementation was divided into 3 phases. In the first phase, a central PIM catalogue was established and tools for recording and importing data from suppliers were implemented. The next phase of the implementation was to personalize the web interface for the members of the association. The last phase of implementation was the online shop of the association itself. The online shop was launched as a presentation of the products of the whole association and after the completion of the data connection of the information systems of the individual members to the central catalogue it will be transformed into a complex e-shop with the possibility of direct ordering from a selected member of the association.
