WinShop Std.
The story of our cooperation began in 2012. In that year, the company's management started looking for a reliable supplier of a POS and warehouse system for its network of stores. At that time, based on the needs of W&R Obuv and the scale of the then network of stores, WinShop Std. warehouse and POS system was chosen. WinShop Std. warehouse and POS system was initially implemented as the centrally managed system with OFF LINE data synchronization. Over time, and in direct relation to the advent of Internet commerce, it became apparent that OFF LINE synchronization of sales and inventory information would not be sufficient. Therefore, in 2017 it was decided that WinShop Std. system would be converted to ON LINE mode at W&R Obuv. The ON LINE mode made it possible, first of all, to better cover internet orders and to reserve the required goods in real time at the individual stores.
WinShop SQL
The increasing number of brick-and-mortar stores, the need to expand the central warehouse to cover online orders and the creation of new online stores offering W&R Obuv's product range led the company's management to consider modernising the central warehouse system. The new central and warehouse system had to be able to handle the increasing number of business transactions in the long term, it had to manage all brick-and-mortar stores in real time, offer a sophisticated customer system shared with all the company's e-shops and, of course, share both available stock and optimal order fulfillment with all e-shops in real time. Based on pre-implementation meetings with operations staff and in conjunction with previous experience and process knowledge at W&R Obuv, the analytics team offered WinShop's business, warehouse and POS system, WinShop SQL. The entire implementation process, which included data migration from the old solution, new native connectivity to the current online stores, integration of the central warehouse order fulfillment solution using mobile readers and a range of other functionality, was completed 5 months after the contracts were signed. The current solution operated at W&R Obuv includes the management of 28 brick-and-mortar stores, the management of 3 online shops, and the management of a 5,000 m2 central dispatch warehouse. A number of individual adjustments have been implemented in all the implemented applications, which allow W&R Obuv's employees to realize their business plans and increase their turnover year by year
eWinShop
The important milestone in our cooperation with W&R Obuv was the implementation of our eWinShop online shop. The need to implement a high quality and reliable e-shop solution was driven primarily by the growing interest of customers to order shoes and accessories online. W&R Obuv wanted to meet this need and started searching for an optimal solution that would not only be interconnected with the current warehouse and POS WinShop Std. system, but also a supplier that will ensure further growth and modernization of the entire e-shop solution. Implementation of eWinShop system was completed in 2017. The implemented solution allowed for order fulfillment at the central warehouse as well as in-person pickups at individual stores, sharing of marketing promotions and customer system, and last but not least, direct connection to a number of carriers. However, the key advantage proved to be the fact that the supplier of the e-shop solution and the warehouse information system is one company, which can implement many of the required innovations simultaneously for sales in brick-and-mortar stores and on the e-shop.
